I picked up 2 Marcia Muller books at our library book sale, and after finishing both, decided to try to read all the "Sharon McCone" books of hers. Also reading Tale of Two Cities for an OLLI class I am taking--quite a difference in the literature this week! Has anyone else taken any OLLI classes? (O. Lifelong Learning Institute) for the over 50"s set. I have really been enjoying them, and the literature related classes are stimulating. I have been so busy with classes and volunteering, I haven't stopped by to this site for awhile. I will try to do better from now on.
Just wanted to drop in and wish everyone a very Happy New Year!

Thanks to all who left me birthday greetings! My computer got messed up on June and I have not been able to get back on the Bookoholics page until I finally got in today and got a new password so that I can come on again. I was so fortunate to be able to go to Omaha the end of August to see and hear Louise Penny!! She was a delightful lady, and the 4 of us who drove together over 100 miles felt it was well worth the travel and time. There were many devoted fans there, and we all left feeling wonderful!
Here is a nice list of the 100 most famous first lines from novels that I stumbled upon, on the web site: Stumble Upon.
