The ratings show that we're still watching this program. How do you like all the new characters? I like all but Penny's mom. She seems too insecure and strident to be part of that family. You might call her a sympathetic character but, hey, it's comedy. We're here to laugh.

Did you see last night's BBT? Moderate spoiler alert here, as I give my opinion. No, I don't think she's really in love with him and yes, I think it's a desperation what-next move. Now, in fact, I think it's just Chuck Lorre yanking us around because after a few years he gets these jumpy feelings that he's got to advance the plot. If he paid attention to Sheldon, he'd know that some people are fans of homeostasis. Make new funny with old stuff.
