Oh dear. I do hope that Ted and his family are not in the path of Andrea.  Seems like hurricanes are beginning to hit the North Carolina coast as it keeps going North. Wishing you be safe now Ted.

Now I wonder what's happened to Dennis?  Is he basking in the sun too?  C'mon Dennis, churn the brain a bit and post something okay?

I just got back from Florida late last night...

Not much Sun lots and lots of heavy rain, first at Daytona Beach, rain, rain rain, clear and sunny skies a Cape Canaveral though.

Then 5 days with granddaughter at Disney World...!

Spent 3 days driving back because of the storms across the Gulf area, (heavy rain constantly) unlike the day and a half driving down...LOL

Who besides Revere made the night ride...? on the night of April 18, 1775, Joseph Warren told Revere and William Dawes that the king's troops were about to embark in boats from Boston bound for Cambridge and the road to Lexington and Concord. Warren's intelligence suggested that the most likely objectives of the regulars' movements later that night would be the capture of Adams and Hancock. They did not worry about the possibility of regulars marching to Concord, since the supplies at Concord were safe, but they did think their leaders in Lexington were unaware of the potential danger that night. Revere and Dawes were sent out to warn them and to alert colonial militias in nearby towns.

Not exactly what Longfellow wrote is it...LOL

There is another person who rode to warn people in Concord and he was the only one who actually made it all of the way. Who was he?
Oh and by the way we were in Hilton Head, SC and the topical storm came right over us too.

Okay then. Where is Huachimonton?  And what is it?

Huachimonton, also spelled Guschimonton, is an archeological site near the Mexican town of Teuchitlan in the state of Jalisco. It is most notable for it circular stepped pyramids surrounded by circles of building sites.

Bravo P.A. Your turn now. :-)

I thought it was something like that. Or either a Chinese restaurant.

You're incorrigible redhand. LOL

What two other men besides Paul Revere rode to warn people that the Redcoats were moving toward Concord, Massachusetts.

I'll wait to see if redhand or Dennis join in P.A.

The one who escaped from the British was Samuel Prescott me thinks. He was able to jump a wall and escape while Revere and Dawes were captured by the British.

Welcome back Dennis.
