What would you, or have you, named a horse; or, what horse names have you encountered that appeal to you?  Any specific reason you like the name, or "just because"?

Bucephalus

He was Alexander the Great's warhorse.

When I was a child, I had statues of horses. One was a black stallion whose raised right foreleg had been broken off. I named him Bucephalus, and he was my favorite horse, despite his "injury," because he was so strong, well-muscled, and the look on his face was so fierce. A heroic stallion.

CIARÁN

Irish Gaelic for "little black one"...good for a black Arabian or Morgan or such.

ÁEDÁN

Gaelic for "little fire."
