TBD on Ning

The world's smallest recorded horse.

The Dyslexic Dodger ran across this incredibly whimsical little fellow yesterday and she and I shared videos that made us both smile.

His story is simply heart-warming.

So I thought I'd post a discussion that will allow us to follow him. He's a yearling now, and in perfect health. (Einstein was not genetically engineered and has no form of dwarfism...he's just really tiny.) Vets estimate he may live as long as 40 years...

EINSTEIN AS A FOAL, A FRIEND, AND HIS MOM (AND PERSONAL VET).

That is the sweetest thing ever!

I sent the video to my sister...her old boss has miniature ponies, I thought she'd get a kick out this.

She said she already knew about Einstein and that Joe had tried to buy him.

OH, Quinn, he REALLY is!!!

There's a video I'll post eventually that shows him as a yearling playing with one of those big equiballs...He is SO revved up and spunky, SO playful and full of joy, that it's infectious!!!

DD and I agreed that the fact he has such an amazingly loving family (including HIS boxer, Lily)...not to mention a built in vet...made us feel very happy and secure for him.

What a treasure he is.
