COLLEGE STATION (REBusiness Online) – Aggies will soon have more housing options thanks to Collegiate Development Construction Services I LLC. And it's not a moment too soon.
According to Texas A&M University's website, the university's freshman class is expected to approach 8,200 this year, which would be an all-time high for the state’s oldest public university and may become the largest single-campus freshman class in the nation.
Collegiate Development will build the 250-unit TAMU University Apartments, which are being designed to meet LEED Homes Silver standards.
The six-building, 239,795-sf complex will sit on more than six acres at University Dr. and College Ave.
Completion is scheduled for next July.
