GILLILAND'S GOLDEN TOUCH
COLLEGE STATION (Real Estate Center) – Dr. Charles Gilliland, a research economist with the Real Estate Center, has received the 2009 Gold Quill Award from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) for an article he co-authored.
Gilliland's article, "Impacts of Farm Income and Personal Income on Texas Land Values 1965–2004,” was published in the 2009 issue of the ASFMRA's journal.
A researcher with the Center since 1977, Gilliland's work is published regularly in the Center's quarterly magazine, Tierra Grande.
Last February, Gilliland was appointed to the Helen and O.N. Mitchell Fellowship in Real Estate at the Mays Business School.
