Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

We ate at Ace Dinner tonight. It is downtown which is pretty much empty now days. It's claim to fame is that Thomas Edison once ate there, probably more than once. Of course at the time it was not Ace Diner but Clemore's Pharmacy. Anyway the food was good and I saw I guy whom I had not seen in years and two former students I did not recognize.

Tom Kha w/shrimp (if I get out of here & go buy the shrimp soon!)

and chicken & veggies in a Thai peanut sauce over Thai noodles.
