STATUS UPDATE
So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.
On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.
Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share. My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world. His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)" etc.
Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.
So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

I wish we could play hooky together today!
I'm off work, but I have to catch up on about 3 weeks worth of admin stuff. Emissions tests for my car PLUS my crappy old retired work truck that I was supposed to get sold before now so I WOULDN"T have to register it again, a trip to the Tax Commissioner's office to re-register my vehicles, a trip next door to the Vehicle Registration office to pay my Property Taxes, a trip to my house to pick up a roasting pan for tomorrow's turkey, and the rent $ & dog food box I forgot to pick up yesterday. sheesh. I'm exhausted just typing all that!
And yes, as Teebs said, D-man caught some god-awful crud on his flight back from L.A. & we both have wound up sick! His was worst the day of Dad's funeral. I, thankfully, didn't get hit w/it like a ton of bricks until the drive home Monday night after the funeral. I've been up since 5am this morning, w/a headache, runny nose, and labored breathing.
.....I'm guessing after reading that, Quinn, that you're not really wanting to be playing hooky w/me today. ;-p
.....cool note- my best friend from junior high who found me on fb last year saw a post on my fb page yesterday that made her reach out to check on me (we've visited once, fb'd & chatted on the phone a bunch). She knew my dad when we were kids & liked him. Anyway, she's gonna come over Friday & have Thanksgiving leftovers w/us & hang out while D-man tinkers on an old motorcycle & I paint a daybed. Sounds like a really good day after Thanksgiving to me.
