so i'm still wonderin , what do you think happened to flight 370 ??

i'll say what i thought from the start , or at least from the point when the stories kept changin and they couldn't find a trace of the plane anywhere they thought it shoulda been .. my first thought was , how far can a 777 fly on a tankfull of fuel ?? how much fuel did flight 370 have ?? i know a lot of the talk is about a hijackin and there are some clues to support that but why hijack a jet and then just crash it into the ocean ?? especially a jet full of chinese people ?? we're all aware of the hatred the islamist jihadists have for the usa and western europe .. they don't really need an excuse to do whatever they can to disrupt our lives in any way possible .. but the chinese ?? why ?? that part don't seem to fit unless i'm missin a piece of the terrorism puzzle somewhere .. terrorism 101 or somethin .. but it seems that their transponders were indeed shutoff .. and shutoff by someone who knew more than the average bear about how they work .. one of the transponders they had to have a special tool to lift up the floor after removin the rug and unscrewin the floor to shut it off .. so i'd think they had to have somebody watchin the passengers and crew while someone else either flew the plane or kept a gun on the pilot .. in either case not a one man job ..2 possibly 3 or more people ... the word is the malaysian pilots know somethin is up and don't wanna fly till they figure out what happened .. from what i could gather this plane could have gone over 5,000 miles or over 9,000 miles .. thats almost halfway around the world .. and if they are indeed islamist terrorists i'm sure they could have landed in pakistan , or afganistan , or yemen , or somalia .. that might fit the 5 to 9 thousand mile range .. i might have to get out my national geographic map tho just to be sure .. i guess the bigger question would be what they hope to gain other than a boing 777 .. would china be willin to negotiate with the terroists ?? i'm not so sure .. they have over a billion chinese as it is so a few more or less probably won't matter to the powers that be all that much . but to have it rubbed in their face in front of the whole world ?? whoa buddy .. that might be a different story all together and that could make things really ugly ..up till now the chinese didn't care about islamist terrorists cause it wasn't happenen to them .. this would change that .. at this point tho i really don't know just like everyone else . but to hijack the plane and then just ditch it in the ocean killin everybody ?? to what end ?? nahh .. i'm thinkin that jet went to somalia or someplace like that .. for all we know they're negotiatin for them passengers as i'm typin this and they already know it never crashed .. what do you guys think ?/ any theories ?

and another link about pilots who debunk that goodfellow guys theory ..

If someone did make off with it but wanted the world to think it went into the ocean, it seems they would have dumped some fuel, bodies, debris, etc. on some deep part of the ocean, maybe even the black box and transponder. Maybe the FBI will find something in the hard drive from that captain's flight simulator, maybe not. Heard Sean Hannity yesterday going all frantic about the captain having deleted some programs a month ago. I have been deleting junk from my computers for years. I guess I must have some big secret plots brewing, that or a 6 1/2 year old computer than won't keep puting along if I don't.

i hear ya shadow .. i have a pretty big hardrive but still why keep a bunch of stuff i don't need .. so if its not all that usefull i'll ditch it too.. so just deletin some files means nothin . unless you know what was on them files and they actually applied to somethin he was gonna do .. not time to be leapin about till you know what you're jumpin up and down about ..

i don't think they can dump the black box tho .. can they ?? wouldn't that defeat the purpose ?? thats supposed to stay with the plane unless it crashes .. or thats what i was lead to believe anyway .. i could be wrong tho .. i really have no idea cause i'm no pilot ..most of what i was sayin was just gut instinct .. these pilots tho , they know all the procedures they have to go thru .. so they can debunk a theory faster than i can think one up ..

I'm impressed with how deep the Indian Ocean is.  Scary.

The thing I think is strange is that they make such a big deal about the pilot having that fancy flight simulator in his house.  My son has almost the exact same thing in our front room.....the three exact screens, arranged in a concave fashion, with a camera on his hat that allows him to "see" out his cockpit windshield.  He can fly anything from a little glider to a 767 on it.....and in real time.  If he wants to land in, say, Seattle at 5 pm, it will give him the weather conditions and the wind...velocity and direction....in real time.  It's not all that unusual for a flyer to play around with such "toys" in their off time.  It certainly doesn't mean he's planning something nefarious.

that is actually like a tool of the trade for pilots. if they know they are going to be flying into an airport that they've never landed in before, they will download the particulars for that airport and do a couple runs before the real thing with real live passengers on board a multimillion dollar plane. many smart pilots do the same thing when they are going into a strange airport in their own private plane. saves a lot of wear and tear if any crashes can be fixed by reloading and trying again till they get it right

just my opinion but most of the 'news' about the plane is just talking heads babbling, speculating and bullshitting...anything for their moment of importance and the networks will air anyone who looks properly authoritative even if they aren't wearing pants under the desk. the last thing any of these dorks want to say is 'i don't know and we won't know anything for sure unless we find it...and maybe not even then'

For Dave, it's a toy....a way of feeling like he's still up there ....since he doesn't fly anymore.

i have a friend who is like that...instead of watching tv in the evening, he flies to alaska or other places...he says it keeps his brain from turning to cheese

How about this: When I was flipping around last night, I saw Rudy Giuliani on Hannity and he was giving his EXPERT advice on what happened with the plane. WTF?  Rudy, your light has shone and has now gone out.  Go away.

or bill o'reilly? really! the only aviation expertise these dorks have is they have been in an airplane...kinda like having ridden a bus makes you an expert in mass transit right?

Just remember: Bill O'Reilly is such an expert on cosmic mechanics and aeronautics and everything else under the sun, that he insists that modern science can't explain how tides work. I did not make that up.
