Report Your Kid to the Cops

Mother Sanity (me) is the parent of 2 teenagers and a friend to many, many more. Every so often some parent will report their child to the police. There are various reasons: drugs, alcohol, robbery, but mostly substances. Have you done or would you ever do this? What do you think the positive effects of your actions have been.

I have never done this, nor do I anticipate ever doing it (short of my kid eating human flesh). I feel it breeds distrust and fosters miscommunication. M Sanity

I don't have any kids.
I could report my cat for meowing too much , but she is too cute..
I am glad my parents never turned me over to the cops.

I should have reported my drunk driving with kids ( me) in the car, fighting, alcoholic, never at home parents to the damn cops!
