Probably. Don't see a lot of made in the USA clothes theese days. I just checked and my Levi's were made in Lesotho. Then I had to Google Lesotho to see where the heck Lesotho is.
According to Wikipedia, it is officially the Kingdom of Lesotho, which is a landlocked country and enclave—entirely surrounded by the Republic of South Africa.
I wondered why my Levi's would be made in Africa, until I read a little more on Wiki, and found that about 40% of the population live below the international poverty line of US$1.25 a day.
Sooooo, I figure it cost Mr. Levi a couple bucks for the material, about 8 cents for some poor schmuck to stitch them togther, and a couple more bucks to ship them back here.
I think I overpaid for my pants!!!
It sounds like an awful lot of effort is being put into keeping your pants up. It is nice of your pedometer to give you five steps for your effort. Normally I would say just let your pants fall where they may and I promise I won't stare...*wink*...but in this instance I shall refrain from saying so.
