Ever since my trip through Denali Park, Alaska, I've become paranoid of mosquitoes. I think I saw one as big as a stapler once. lol

Here is a list of natural mosquito repellents. How effective? That's up to you to determine

  • Citronella Oil
  • Lemon Eucalyptus Oil
  • Cinnamon Oil
  • Castor Oil
  • Rosemary Oil
  • Lemongrass Oil
  • Cedar Oil
  • Peppermint Oil
  • Clove Oil
  • Geranium Oil

BUT... I read this a couple of years ago, so looked it up to make sure I remembered it right. You may just be too mellow Maricel. People that are stressed are less likely to be targets. (not sure if I'm willing to trade stress for some mosquito bites)

Here's a link to one article. and I'm sure there are more.

TBuB, maybe I shall mix a body wash with extracts from all those oils/

Thx for the article.

Texas Size Mosquito repellent!

Only you, Aggie!  :-D

The smaller ones can eat a lot of mosquitos too, have watched them feed while at camp.

Holy cow......is  that real?    How could that lady be smiling?

That is a natural human repellent!

That bat is a fruit bat, he gets his large size from eating fruit.

Sweet!

:-D

I'm very mellow....rarely get bit.   :-)

Some of my girlfriends used to swear by a product called Avon Skin So Soft.  I doubt it was very natural though.

Skin So Soft worked for my kids.
