TBD

TBD on Ning

My blog is removed from my page: invasion of privacy.

I want to know what people have to say. I write about computers. My article 'Kaspersky Anti Virus Software' was posted on MY PAGE and it is removed by MysticalMaria and Bull from MY PAGE. It is unheard of. It is an invasion of privacy. It means that Bull and MysticalMaria have the right to delete whatever they please including YOUR content. I also need to know if Robin Wolaner is aware of the situation.

here we go, the chosen few again---I want everything out in the open--lay it on the table and open it up and lets look at it.
PLEASE!!! I am not "one of the chosen few". I am a lurker 90% of the time. I almost NEVER start a discussion or thread. Why did Kat ask me? Not sure, other than she thought I might be even handed. To be totally honest, I an VERY SORRY I made the comment that Kat approached me.
This entire thread bores me to death. What is done is done. Get over it.
I would suggest to develop the idea: TBD was created as a social network for people over 40. The trashy stuff developed in the process. Anybody can create a ning website. Why don't those that prefer trashy stuff create their own trashy ning website? Everybody will be happy.
I've been a member of TBD since the time it was created. I created and supported numerous groups on old TBD and here as well.

It escaped my attention when Kat was looking for volunteers. If I knew about that option, I would definitely volunteer. I want to correct the situation. I want to be a moderator-volunteer and I want to be included in the team.
It was done by PM==did you not hear that Alla---you are not in the in crowd
Some people mentioned that Kat was asking everybody, TeeBubbaDee mentioned PM. If there was a situation, that required volunteers to be selected, I can very well envision Kat doing both, asking people publicly somewhere in the forum, for example and also sending out PMs. If she had to do the job, both methods were acceptable.
I did not receive any PM asking me anything about helping with this.
I did not know this group even exist--and now they are the controlling group. I do not like people or group that do things behind close doors. almost like cheating or stealing.
I think it needs to be more out in the open. I have no interest in moderating but why can't anyone who wants to be a moderator be a moderator? Why not a council of moderators? elected at large? Is this ning the sole property of anybody now that it is a ning? Wasn't in it Robin's creation before? Maybe a rules committee is needed as well.
Apposite,

Ning, Inc owns 850 domains
I agree Alla. I was going to suggest the same, but thought you might consider that as patronizing towards you. You have a wonderful understanding of open forums and on-line communities, and as a developer you would be an asset as an volunteer/moderator.You could actually use the info and interactions from TBDNing to broaden your experience . I agree that you should take a place on the board. JleeS..The Chow Dog.(NO,I am not being a Smarty Pants)
Jack, thank you. I feel that I can make TBD experience better not only because I am a developer, I am also a blogger, plus I happen to know and like many TBDers.

A lot of discussions here should have never happened. Some of these discussions are started by people that have no clue what they are talking about and they have been making ridiculous suggestions. Stop using links! Do you know, if I mentioned that to some Google people, they would laugh for a couple of days non-stop.

Links are used in the internet world to decide which websites are important, which websites are not that great. Links are a tool for website ranking. If a high ranking website links to my website, the ranking of my website goes up.

It is not easy to understand. But I understand it because I am blogger. I must understand it.

Every job requires certain qualifications, even if it is a volunteer job.
