This is the story of a caterpillar named Katie. Katie was a green and yellow caterpillar, about an inch long who lived in a pristine park full of beautiful trees and grass and flowers. Katie was an innocent and cute happy little fella who was friends with the birds and the bees, squirrels, and all kinds of bugs and squiggly crawly creatures that also lived in the park.

Everyone thought of Katie as that special someone you'd love to cuddle up to if you were a caterpillar of the opposite sex or same sex if one was so inclined.  Katie loved to play hide and seek in the grass with her park friends, chomp on tasty leaves with her voracious appetite . Yeah...For a cute little fella, Katie could eat with the best of them. The accommodating trees also provided shelter for Katie when it rained.

Life was great. Katie loved being a caterpillar. Katie had no inkling about being a grown up butterfly or moth one day. All Katie knew was about being the best caterpillar she could be and was a very happy one at that.  Katie didn't know anything about the world outside the park: about people and school, cars, airplanes,  baseball, marriage, clothing, industry, war, disease, music, religion, politics, or technology. Katie only knew about being a caterpillar and enjoyed every day as being one.

One day, Katie got a bit curious and ventured outside the park wondering what made those noises of honking and humming of engines of cars driving on the block near the park.  Katie crawled a few feet outside from the entrance.   Katie, as her loving friends all knew , was just one dumb ass, spineless caterpillar oblivious to everything and anything in the world outside the park.  Squoosh.   The End.
