Oh, what the heck. I'll show you mine first.

It's that time of the year, when my flower garden is delivering the goods, and I haven't surrendered to the inevitable victory of the weeds, and I feel pretty good about my ability to turn hard work and lots of trips to the garden supply store into pretty flowers.

Here are some of the high points from this Spring so far.

Nice show, Danny! Kudos to all you gardeners. I haven't been out in the garden with a camera much this year. Hm.

The redbud trees are glorious when they are in full swing. Did you know that the flowers are edible? And you can cook the little 'peas' for dinner, too.

I did not know that about the redbud flowers & 'peas,' Chez, thank you for telling me. Have you had either, or both? Are the flowers usually put in a salad? Or with fruit, perhaps? And do the peas taste anything like snow peas? (that's what they look like) And do you only cook the peas, or the pods, too?
I have a few volunteers this year, so if anyone in or near Atlanta, or traveling through would like a small redbud tree, you're welcome to have one.

Oh, you have trilliums! Lucky girl! I grew up in the woods in Washington, and to me they are just magical.

Gorgeous pics, Jaylee, thank you for sharing them w/us. I love the Trillium, too, and I am always attracted to Clematis. I had that same particular Clematis that you have at a former home of mine in Atlanta, and loved it so.
