I AM THANKFUL FOR

Many of you know I don’t write much unless it’s something I feel might need or deserve levity, correction or if it’s something I feel very deeply about. This is the later.
About a year ago a special Lady felt we should have a place to share our thanks for the upcoming Holidays. After our move and because of the quirks of TBD ning this thread ended up as a group. I have always felt it would be better as a front-page discussion. Remember how hard we worked to get to One Thousand pages before we moved?
Well since the holidays are upon us again, Dottie and I wanted to recognize this lady. We felt what better way than to try and replicate her post and bring it out in the open. She has no idea we are doing this and we hope she doesn’t mind.
Dottie and I just want to thank Judy and bring this thread to the fore.
We hope you will all take some time to give thanks and perhaps thank Judy at the same time. We also hope you don’t mind if you find it bumped back to the front we have no idea who might do that but we do hope it is more than one.

I am happily selfish that this week end was purely spent on Jaylee time.
Did what I wanted...when I wanted...so there.

I am thankful for that, even though no one did my vacuuming for me...THAT would truly make me more thankful.

I'm thankful for:

This goofy little bird that can be so demanding of me...and I fall for it!

The two kitties that let me love them...even if it's on their terms.

A warm and cozy roof over my head even with the drafty west window.

A job that pays me rather well...sometimes too well but we won't  tell them...will we..?

A total lack of conspiracy in my life except when I let my imagination get the best of me.   Then I go scrub the floor and get it out of my system.  

That just about sums it up for now...TBC

I am thankful for cell phones, computers, web cams, airports, airplanes, pilots who fly airplanes and all else that shrinks miles.

I'm thankful too for the Lady that makes me thankful for all that above.

Wow, boy have I been THERE, Bob - we survived sooooooo much better for a year & a half, separated by a thousand miles, b/c of the things you mentioned there.

 

I'm thankful for his beautiful smile, his wonderful mind, his tender heart, all that he is.

 

... for the spiritual link that gives me fullness beyond measure

... for my restored health

... for friendships

... for this social network

... for those moments when paths cross & serendipity occurs

... for my DOGS!
