HEADLINE: Man Seated Next to Unaccompanied Minors Forced to Change Seats

Are all men pedophiles?

One airline seems to assume this.  Virgin Australia Airlines asked a man to leave his seat (click) next to two minors for one reason alone...He is a man.  They found a woman to take his place.

"...the welfare of the child is our priority," Says a spokeswoman.

Is this sexist?  Or a wise precaution?

The guy told the kids if they don't behave he will throw them overboard?

Some think some men are not to be trusted, the people that said that got their headlines.

I don't trust any word that ends with "ist" so I won't comment on that.

This is sexist, elitist, high-handed, ........wrong on so many levels I can't even think of all 'em. The guy should find some way to sue the shit out of the airline.

Was this the retired Air Force General that told the kid, "I showed him my pilot's wings, service stars, and battle ribbons, and explained that they entitle me to throw one passenger out the plane door on any flight I choose."?

It's pretty sexist against women...we have the right to be just as freaky as men.

Where and when I was raised was a lot different from now......or is it? Back then we had never heard of "stranger danger" or anything like that. But .....I do remember, in a very subtle way it was suggested if a child found himself in trouble he should look for a MAN......as back then a man was considered a protector. I guess maybe Penn State and the Catholic church have changed a number of notions.

Still, to automatically look at any man and immediately see either/or rapist or child molester is  just wrong. We are not all bad guys.

Well................ At least we don't have to baby-sit.

Yeah, but I did today.

What if a woman didn't want to sit next to the brats?

You are a genius.
