Too darn cold.....10º.  But the sun is shining and the snow is so pretty.

I'm really burned out now, I ended up shoveling the whole walkway, driveway, path, side porch, mailbox route earlier.  My main shovel broke, right at the place where the wood handle goes in to the plastic socket (break point) on the back of the plastic scoop.  I had to resort to the back up shovel, which has a much smaller scoop, and much too short a handle.  I noticed that the plastic hand grip on the backup is also cracked, right where it attaches to the plastic handle.  Looks like tomorrow I go shopping for a new shovel....hopefully one without plastic at all the stress points.

 

I made this observation:  A shovel scoop mostly in the air is a shovel scoop not mostly in the snow.  Thats not a good thing.
