A German teacher with a rabbit phobia is suing a 14 year old female pupil for drawing a rabbit on the blackboard.

OK, so the student admitted that she'd heard from her classmates that the teacher was afraid of rabbits, and drew it anyway, to see what the reaction would be. Even though she might have thought her friends were bullshitting her, she's definitely in the wrong.

But why is a woman who can be paralyzed with terror by a chalk drawing (a monster that can be slain with a swipe) teaching in a public school, where such images are simply inevitable? I don't know what schools are like in Germany, but around here, rabbits are pretty much an essential component of the middle-school dress code. This woman needs help.

Maybe she belongs in the administrative field of education, where she rarely comes into contact with actual, you know, children.
