What do you collect that we might think is unusual?

My Gma collected dolls that looked crazy (real hair), my mom collected elephants (only trunk up).  Because of that I have never collected anything.  I do not want knick knacks anywhere in my house.

I collect picture discs. These are real playable albums,(even the oddly shaped ones like the Rolling Stones tongue play) but they have graphics imprinted into the vinyl. Most of these were purchased new, and never played, with a few exceptions. There a couple of Disney albums (probably from the 40's or 50's) that were bought at flea markets and garage sales, they appear to have never been played, but I can't be positive. The only other one that has been played one time, is the Jimi Hendrix disc, titled Woke Up This Morning And Found Myself Dead. It's was recorded (poorly) in the Scene Club in NY City in 1968. With Hendrix, it also features Johnny Winters, Buddy Miles, and a very drunk Jim Morrison, (I'm pretty sure from the sound of the album they were all pretty much blitzed) I picked up 3 more on my trip to OH, but haven't had the time to mount them on the wall yet.

Bubba,I had 2 picture discs and 3 color albums.they were gone along time ago in a burglar(that's another story) anyway, one thing I noticed were those little sayings and messages and other symbols engraved and the end of the recording part, just around the outside of the label.I only noticed on the picture and color albums.

Most of mine don't have any messages or symbols flipper (I just checked) The only one with writing around the outside edge is the Hendrix disc. The only others are an Alan Parsons disc, that lists the songs, the producer etc, and says it is for promotional use only and not for sale, and an Alice Cooper that says it is an interview disc. A couple of the others are interview discs too (no music) I didn't mention it earlier, but practically all of these have two different pics, one on each side of the album.

by the way, that's an awesome collection.

Thanks flipper. Just something I enjoy.

With the pot today, it's RARE to find even one seed.
