HEADLINE: Why Charlie Sheen is A Good Role Model - Seriously

Valery Satterwhite of "The Wrap"  thinks that Charlie Sheen should be given more respect and credit than we've been giving him.  The fact that he has confessed to indiscretions and has resolved to take control of his life, should restore our faith and admiration in a man who has seen the error of his ways.

Of course, her article was written well before his latest blunder...a homophobic slur during a live performance.

Should we overlook his rants and displays of egocentric indulgence in consideration of his obvious talent as well as his resolve to better himself?

Or have we had enough of this man?

Amen Perri

Couldn't have said it better, Perri. I wouldn't mind just one day of Sheen's "hard life" and super brain.

I'll have to amen Perri, P.A. and Bob. My normal brain is still trying to figure out how Sheen rates a super brain.

Oh, Charlie Sheen doesn't bother me at all....he's a flawed guy with resiliency, a dumb-*ss who none-the-less sometimes comes pretty close to the mark.

Role model?  Well, I don't know if I'd go that far, but I gotta say, sometimes I get a chuckle out of him.

We may not admit to watching a train wreck. but sometimes, you can't help yourself.

Me, I have no problem with Charlie. He has no impact on my life other than once in a while I can say REALLY?

I suppose. I haven't heard of him trying to privatize social security, open any creation science museums, or prevent women from gaining access to health care.

Charlie has a problem with substance abuse (alcohol). I hope he gets the help he needs, I really enjoyed him on two and a half men. He made that a #1 sitcom to me.
