Book Lady's Page

It is so trying to find the time
to send a word or two in rhyme
but try as try can do
I want much to send to you
a greeting for near week's end
a story of smiles forever begin.
When words are sparse and text'd too
we are left stranded in who left who
So as my thoughts regain their compose
I keep on smiling, and thereby suppose. :-)
I suppose I work with 'Play with Words'
A group I've found that's not absurd
A place where the meanings meant
are oftened challenged and desires spent ;-)

I must not be finding all of my buttons... ;-)
I have followed some of your leads to include the Book Lovers Cafe, I even made a comment...
I have also looked into the thing 'a way with words', something like that.
:-) Your bright smile keeps me eagerly returning for the companionship and dialogue.

We're off to see the book store
it's a place with stories galore
Where there is coffee and cake,
a place to read and meditate...,
where solutions to queries abide
and the solution to mysteries reside.
Maybe that is what is in-store
for those who enter the cafe door
They name the place the Book Lovers Cafe
and the menu is books, but it's all passe'.
Today the means is in the media
be it paper, kindle, or wikipedia;
texted, email, picture, video
all jumbled up liken to a rodeo
quick and fast out of the shoot
so much crap you still need boots
but to each his own, and own he does
he buys, he buys and he does because
the info sought is short of life
it's quick, it's short, it's full of strife
I paints a picture that can't be fixed
still beyond solution it's what he picks.

No, he is not black
but he has returned
to share what's learned,
a place in the sand
that's in this land
where dreams are made
and where seldom is staid.
A party never-ending
a glass undescending
fruits of pleasure galore
now what is in store?

My Lady of Books, where have you been?
I went away on vacation but I am back again.
Our notes of our visions and our internal plea
have given rise to the occassion and a smile from me.
I'd give you hug, and some kisses too,
but the guys at corporate would say boo hoo
They would be thinking that Hershey was won out
but I was only saying what is really in my heart.
