Hey I'm still around. I'm on Epic Years also. I also spend a lot time on Facebook, it not just for teens any more. There a lot of great groups on Facebook.
My security software indicate that this site is no longer secure. Is this a glitch or did they make changes in this site?
Some of us have joined up at epicyears.com and boomerville.spruz.com; I use the same name on those sites, so if you decide to join them, look me up!
You're lucky, at least you like the leftovers from it if you end up having Thnksgvg dinner at your place; my prob, I don't like turkey or most of the traditional Th. stuff, not even pumpkin pie (only good pie is a chocolate pie, I always say); the only leftovers I like are prime rib or steak.
Neither of us really like to entertain (both introverts). My wife dreads it because she feels she has to spend hours prepping the house for company. She also feels responsible for structuring activities for the grandchildren, which she enjoys, but it still takes a lot out of her. I do most of the cooking and so stay out of the way in the kitchen, even after the meal doing clean-up. I must admit going out, with family, was a lot better but I miss the left overs and so I plan to prep an entire meal here just for that purpose.
Yeah, I wish I could talk Hubby into going out or just having a quiet 1 here with just the 2 of us, feel like I'm getting too old for this holiday hubbub, but no dice, he luuuuuuuvs to entertain. And I know I shouldn't complain since he does 50 percent of the work; but 50 percent of too much work is still too much work.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. We went out this year - so much easier.
Yeah, I could go with Judge Judy.
I read an interesting article about write-in votes this election. It seems that there was an unprecedented number of people in my county that were not satisfied with the ballot as given. Being from Ohio, many of the write-ins were no surprise; John Glenn, the manager of the Indians, the head coach at Ohio State, etc. Apparently not all of the religious right went with Trump because Jesus Christ got more write-ins than anybody else. I personally voted for Judge Judy. She can be just as blunt as Trump only she refines it with common sense.
