Good news to hear grammyK! We are expecting our 6th grandchild in about a month, but will be nowhere near the delivery when it occurs (2,500 miles away in California.) We are scheduled to visit after the 1st month.
In other news, yesterday my family doctor finally agreed with me on the interpretation of my blood tests. I was referred to a specialist for treatment of hemochromatosis. Hello phlebotamies, here I come.

Just have some great news to share! My second great-granddaughter, Aalayah, arrived yesterday! 8#13oz. And I am blessed to be the very lucky midwife who got to deliver her.

Thanks guys! I have a little announcement to make. I've quit drinking. Today is actually day 30!!! Plan on going to another AA meeting tomorrow (that will be my third) to get my chip. On top of feeling great, I was at my oncologists yesterday, and I weighed 174. I was at 235/238 for years. Removing my bladder two years ago knocked me down to mid 180's, but don't think I've been in the 170's since Junior High School. But now I need a tummy tuck, and my boobs are saggy!!!!!!
