And of course I need frosting for it. That's the best part!!!
I will have to try this frosting. I have never used a recipe that called for eggs. I have used one, the 7 minute frosting that calls for egg whites. In fact ,I will also make the chocolate cake .
Thanks, Jan
You're welome Ann....when the frosting cools on the cake, it is similar to fudge...and so good.

Hello everyone! I'm new to this group and it looks great! I love cooking, baking, and recipes. I'm always looking for new things to try.

I have a super-easy dessert that anyone can make in a few minutes and it's so good! Especially for a picnic.

Take 1 can of crushed pineapple and dump it into a bowl, juice and all. Then add 1 box of instant vanilla pudding and mix it together. Lastly, add 1 tub of Cool Whip and mix all of it together. Cut an angel food cake in half and spread the pineapple fluff mixture onto the bottom layer. Replace the top layer of the cake and chill.

Anyways, I look forward to meeting everyone here and exchanging recipes. Have a great day everyone!
