I started this book 4 or 5 days ago, but got sidetracked with other things. It's the first in a series of 3 (so far): Magic, Mirth, & Mayhem by Susie Swenson.  It's a paranormal mystery.   It was a bit hard to get into, due to so many 'different' things to absorb: magic, a witch learning new skills, and a 'magic town' with several strange things happening. But I really did enjoy it. My only problem is that I really dislike 'cliffhangers'. Not to mention, book 3 (which may or may not be the 'end') doesn't come out till the end of this year.  If I bought the next 2 books and then found out that it isn't the 'end'...I'd be very upset. It's different if you know in advance that it's a 'series'.  And even then, if each book has an actual 'ending'.  So for now I won't even bother thinking about the second book.
