Sunday, Feb. 15th:
I forgot to add: the author of this book is Ivy Spellman.
In general, I'm weeding out my very large eBook collection. But this one is so good, not only did I give it 5 stars, I'm keeping it. I'm also considering the next book in the series; if it featured the same main character, I'd do it instantly! However, this 'series' has a different heroine in each book--each one dealing with 'learning' she's a witch and trying to figure it out. But: the next heroine is best friends with this main character, & the situation looks interesting.

Gosh, I didn't realize it's been so long since I read that book. I'm still usually reading one book each day. Mainly in the evening, when there's nothing on tv, I curl up in bed and read on the iPad. My daughter just told me she still prefers 'real books'! I had asked if she wanted to 'borrow' any books from my Amazon account (since we're 'linked' on that account). Tonight I'm reading one called "Sugar, Spells, & Secrets" by Tessa Silver. As usual, it's a light, cozy mystery with 'magic'. Due to 'real life' being so much of a 'downer'...I'm sticking to light cozies. Actually, that's why I haven't finished the one I started yesterday: 'Death at Moonhaven Light' by K.S. Van--it's a bit heavier. I'd put it aside, but I think I'll try to finish it tomorrow--not one I want to read before going to sleep!
Death at Moonhaven LIght was better than I expected & not as 'heavy' as I thought. After that, I read more light paranormal cozies:
The Joan Wilder Effect by Lori Wilde (very good, but a bit more 'steamy' than I prefer), Axed at the Ice Machine by Juliette Harper and
Spells, Spirits, & Stiffs by B.L.Bonatch (both good).
I've started one that I can't seem to get 'into': That’s the Spirit by Mallory Pierce
I'm going to try once more, then if it doesn't grab my attention, I'll move onto something else.
