WHY I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT TAKING MY DOG FOR A WALK

We are here in the hills of West Virginia.

I often feel gulity about not letting "Happy" run free. However, we live in an RV. RV's are somewhat confined living quarters. "Wet dog" is not the inside aroma that I seek.

Here is Happy on our walk this morning.

His 2nd favorite mud hole.

His favorite!

I have two more of additional doggie spa's but won't bore you with them.

Here is home.

I do spend a lot of time bathing him.

Do any of you have similar problems with your significant other?

Any suggestions?

Cats are not big on bathes.

That second favorite spa looks so nice and cool! What a great photo. I don't blame Happy for enjoying a dip, but I agree it's pretty annoying when he wants to come inside.

My cats are pretty good. Hattie is the only one who sleeps indoors (to avoid 3 a.m. altercations) and he is a remarkably clean fellow. Heh. Comparatively. At least he doesn't shed much.
:-D
Sadly, I must admit, my cats ARE my significant others.

I gotta get a life, while I can still remember it!
Me too Stir. even the dog here belongs to Caleb.
Our smallest Shep LOVES baths. My fiancee is convinced that he deliberately gets filthy, just so he can have some one-on-one quality time with me as I bathe him. We don't even have to put him in the tub - We just give him a certain look, say his name is a certain tone, and he runs downstairs and leaps into the tub all by himself, standing there, waiting for us, wagging his tail and grinning his goofy little ass off. You should see the way he prances around, after he's been washed and toweled off....It's ridiculous. "Looka ME, everybody...I'm PRETTY!"
If you look closely at the pic of the RV, all the way over to the left, you can see a table. That is where I hose him down. He loves it. He especially likes being rubbed down with a towel. unfortunetly with all that hair it takes more than one towel.
My SO refuses to bathe outside.
I'll refrain from commenting on either one of the two preceeding replys.
