TBD

TBD on Ning

Kat, or maybe it was akabukowski, once said to me that everyone thinks their life would make a good book.

She is probably right. What do you think?

Here is your chance.

Let's all tell stories from our experiences as we traveled through time.

Ahh, but there has to be rules. They will be pretty loose, but rules there must be.

RULES:

1. It can be any experience that you want to tell us about.

2. It can be as short as one line. Or as long as fifty. Anything over thirty will be deleted.

3.You do not have to end the story at fiftyy lines, but you have to quit writing at the end of fiftyy lines. You can not post again until at least one other person  has posted something.

This ensures that everyone gets a chance.

4.You can continue on the same subject or jump to a new one.

5. Nothing is required to be in chronological order.

6. Very Graphic Sexual discriptions should be posted in the sex talk group. You can direct us to go there if we want to read about it.

7. No one will be checking the facts

8. Additional rules will be posted and implemented as I see fit.

Step right up and post. who knows, the next knock on your door may be Spielberg asking for the movie rights.

aka, very well done. Very entertaining. Very insightful. very unusual. Love back to you.
Lynn, There is a book in everyone's life. Many fail to see it, and It might not be a best seller, but it's there.

I think I was born a resentment that I was not a boy. I think my mother braided my hair so tight it would hurt & cut my bangs short & crooked on purpose. I think she fed me those soft boiled eggs so that maybe someday I would choke on them & die.

My father was ambitious & wanted poster children with perfect table manners to look good for his dreams of being some sort of aristrocrat & meeting people in high places.

Being the kid of a journalist we got front row seats & had a special liscense plate on our car which got us parking other people could not have & we got our pics taken w/ big cameras on legs.

Punisment for bad kids in our household was standing in corners till our legs turned purple & orange & blue & not be able to move or scratch our legs till he said you can come out now.....Children were only meant to be seen & not heard.

We were being developed into what they wanted, but for me it was a fight & a battle for what I wanted. Life was a struggle to be independant & I latched onto people who were anti-social & anti establishment..My life was about telling them (the controllers) where to get off.

I like alleys....They tell the true story...they are the real thing behind the fronts of city houses made to look good to the rest of society for egos sake. You can call me a alley cat that sort of enjoyed my bout with homlessness....I love street people..They are interesting, they are all different with stories to tell. They are me & you if worse came to worse, but some of them choose the lifestyle as not to become part of the human rat race determined everyone should go by the same rules..Hog wash to their rules.....half of them stupid as the day is long.

My favorite singer...John Lennon....favorite poet...Charles Bukowski who knew the streets of Downtown Los Angeles & wrote about the feeling he experienced there.....Not pretty writing & he cursed a lot...my kind of people.

Casyjo, Reading this made me realize that although I did not think so most times, I really had a pretty easy childhood. Far from perfect, but much eaiser than many here.
Thanks for sharing caseyjo. Very moving,
Your Welcome
He was despicable &  deserved to die long before he did. When you listen to peoples stories it is then you realize why the personality traits we dislike in others are there & hopefully we can learn from them..If we all could go around w/ our stories pasted to the fronts of our shirts, maybe we would tread more lightly w/ our expectations upon others....I know i broke a rule there, but i just had to say that.

I like this idea CJ.   I also take to the notion of  the next person I meet might be fighting a bigger battle than mine.

As far as Kooners story, sometimes death is too good for some people.   But at least they aren't breathing the same air any more.

There is no way that I will delete a line of this. I made the rule, I can change it.

From now on there is a 50 line limit.

I am reminded, after reading the posts written so far, that there is so much insanity and violence in the world. Most of us seem to have endured some form of it. Many of us have experienced it in the first person & perpetrated it as well. For those who are wounded, whether you've spoken here or not, my heart goes out to you & I wish you healing.

Well, sometimes we get exposed to new things & although uncomfortable, they're also quite wonderful. Sit there & take it in. You might be pleasantly surprised. And squirmily uncomfortable.

I'm all about dichotomy. '-)

hmmm... *smiling*

my guy says to me quite often, "You are so wise."

now THAT I find unnerving.
