I think it is time to address the whole issue of why she did this, and if the public should be informed:

This woman did not close the door of her bedroom and down a bottle of sleeping tablets - She walked in to the most public place she could find, and took her life in about the most dramatic and disturbing fashion one could think of. She WANTED to be seen, she WANTED people to be horrified!! Self-immolation is the method Tibetan monks use to grasp the world's attention, and bring the focus of the press to their plight. This is something she would have undoubtedly known, and considered.

I think it is an absolute given that she WANTS people to know why she did it!

And Tim Raisbeck has it right - almost. The woman is dead now, presumably she couldn't care less what we say or do. Not anymore.

 

Do you have any idea what it takes to push a person to such a place? Any idea at all? Probably not. Tim Raisbeck does. He has some idea. So do I. I could show you, if you like . . .
