Encapsulating me, the gray skies, casting shadows
On the new born snow.
Shrouding my body in pearly moist fog,
Protecting me from harshness,
Metamorphosing my body, my mind, my spirit,
Preparing for rebirth.
The stillness, solitude, echoing my aloneness,
Reverberating back to me
Nights of darkness
Nights of blackness
The shadow of my soul.
My mind, it whirls, it dances, ebbs and flows,
Imitating the tides of the mighty ocean
Huge expanse of whiteness.
The waves dancing upon sands of time,
Playing the endless game of catch me if you can,
Capture me and I will dance with you
A dance of lightness and of mirth
For in this time of deepest sorrow
Joy is being spun
The threads of delight ready to create silken filaments
Threads weaving together
Birthing a tapestry of joy
Amidst the sorrow.
It is the ending
It is the beginning
The circle of life dances on.
