CONGRATS… Communist Party USA Endorses Barack Obama and Democrats F...

NewImage

Obama just received a critical endorsement, The Communist Party USA. The Communist Party USA leader, Sam Webb, explains why he will continue to support Obama and Democrats in 2012. The Communist Party USA has consistently supported and infiltrated the Democratic Party.

Also note, Sam Webb, the leader of the party, called Obama a friend back in 2008.

Sam Webb Via People’s World:

It is obvious that there is a growing feeling of frustration and even anger among supporters of the Democratic Party with its performance over the past two years.

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, speaking for the labor movement, strongly expressed this unhappiness in some recent speeches.

I am disappointed too with some aspects of the Obama administration’s domestic and foreign policy.

But I don’t forget that this administration governs in a very hostile political environment in which the right is laboring overtime to wreck its initiatives at every step of the way.

In addition, there are the structural pressures of governing in a capitalist economy and state.

Then there are conservative pressures coming from some congressional Democrats and members of the administration.

Everything can’t be explained away by the objective context, however. The president and his administration can be faulted for a number of policy decisions.

But the main question from a strategic point of view is this: Does it make any difference, from the standpoint of the class and democratic struggles, which party gains political ascendency?

Some – though not the labor movement nor other mass organizations of the American people – say no, it doesn’t.

Some even go a step further and say a Democratic victory creates popular illusions, which in turn weaken the people’s struggles. And the only way out of this vise is to form a third party now.

Communists don’t agree with either one of these views. In our view, the differences between the two parties of capitalism are of consequence to class and democratic struggles.

Neither party is anti-capitalist, but they aren’t identical either. Differences exist at the levels of policy and social composition. And despite the many frustrations of the past two years, the election of Barack Obama was historic and gave space to struggle for a people’s agenda.

If, on the other hand, the Republicans had been victorious in 2008 the character of class and democratic struggles would have unfolded very differently. Our movement would have been on the defensive from Day One, the Democrats would be running for cover, and the Republicans would have an unfettered hand in their efforts to liquidate the welfare state, roll back the rights revolution of the 1930s and 1960s, and crush the people’s movement – labor in the first place.

As for the wisdom of a third party, we have always advocated the formation of an independent people’s party at the core of which are the working class and labor, racially and nationally oppressed people, women, youth, immigrants, seniors, gay and straight, etc. It is essential for any deep-going social change. But its realization depends on more than our desire, more than our political-ideological attitude. Millions who have to be at the core of this party still operate under the umbrella of the Democratic Party, albeit increasingly in an independent fashion.

Moreover, to separate ourselves at this moment from these forces would be contrary to our strategic policy of building maximum unity against right-wing extremism now and in next year’s elections.

Now that doesn’t mean that we give up our advocacy of an independent people’s party, but we also understand that its formation is dictated by concrete political realities and strategic necessities. Nor does it mean that we hit the mute button when the Obama administration takes positions that we don’t agree with. Just as we show no hesitation in supporting, and fighting for, the administration’s progressive initiatives, we should have no compunction about taking issue with the administration when it takes positions that we don’t agree on.

Which is what we have done.

When someone says we are not critical of the administration what they usually mean is that our criticism isn’t as sweeping and categorical as they would like.

We make criticisms, but we do it in a certain context and with a certain strategic objective in mind. We are keenly aware of the fact that the agenda of the far right is to bring this administration and country to its knees, with a heavy dose of racism, lies and economic sabotage, setting the stage for a full blown return to power of the most reactionary, racist, anti-labor, anti-women, homophobic and militarist grouping in U.S. politics.

We want no part of that. We don’t have any illusions about the Democratic Party, but we don’t have any illusions about the Republican Party either.

Furthermore, we are also aware of the undeniable fact that no other party besides the Democratic Party stands a chance of beating the GOP next year.

I’m sure Obama will win in 2012 now.. yeah right.

For all you wingnuts wishing to heal a nation in crisis, there are still openings for the prayer rally tomorrow. Some highlights:

Presidential wannabee Gov. Rick Perry's day of prayer and fasting on Saturday will feature the wackiest of the religious right-wing. Among their beliefs: blackbirds are dying because of gay soldiers, the Statue of Liberty is a "demonic idol," the gay rights movement is a “satanic anointment," Hurricane Katrina was divine retribution for the city's sins, and Oprah is a “forerunner to the harlot movement" who signals the Apocalypse.

Democracy and communism are for the most part synominous, they both require everyone work towards a common and not individual goals, both are inclined to punish or prohibit free thought or individualism.
Neither are helpful with individual success and press the individual to sacrifice they're efforts for a suposed common good. Both have been tried many times throughout history and over and over at that. Never obtaining the utopian life for anyone save those in control of the government. And every time has fallen to an oligarchy, which is exactly what the elite and financially powerful want,
A nation of sheep elect a government of wolves. At what point do we learn from actual world history instead of believing what they want us to hear. They know us very well and they alter our perception by deceiving us into believing that a democracy is any different from communism. History reveals that its essentually the same thing.and our fore fathers of this nation gave us a chance to break these chains but yet we enslave ourselves once again, altering our form of government to a democracy making it all to easy for the elite few to seize the power away from us and force us to surrender to a way of life that silently enslaves us.

I'm not accusing you of being a Communist Robbie. And no I do not think that a bunch of un-organized militia's could defend the Nation. However I do believe that most all the Global Governments Russia and China included are run by global bankers and not by They're respective electorate. Were all sheep these days no one is free. I am suggesting that we wake up and realize we don't have control of our country and our politicians are not only corrupt but on the take, from such organizations as the Bildeburgh's, Skull and bones, and other secret societies that over 1/2 of all of our presidencies have belonged too. How would I suggest fixing the problem? I would start by incriminating such secret societies and prosecute any elected leader found to belong to them.  And there is no way Bill Gates or anyone else can capture all the wealth in the Nation because there is currently no limit to how much wealth any individual can create. so what if these millionaires and billionaires made fortunes selling they're products if your that envious of them do what they did, create your own wealth. I'm certain you wont find them trying to steal it from you. However you will find the lower class trying too though..

although I've not personally worked for any large corporations I have indeed sold them custom designed machinery and parts and worked quite closely with many of them, Some were great to work with others not.

let the warren buffet's and bill gate's amass as much fortune as they're capable of it's certainly not a bad thing. in they're efforts they've provided 100's of thousands of very good paying jobs and payed huge tax's themselves, they're achievements should never be capped. They've quite literally captivated the American dream for themselves and in doing so in no way prevents you from doing the same....

Tool, I'm just going to ignore your accusations about being a communist and your veiled threat about someone shooting at me. The first because anyone who knows me and my background would consider it totally rediculous. The second, because I haven't survived this long without knowing how to protect myself.

I have repeteatedly ask you to explain how you would organize the government. You have never provided any details. So far all I have seen from you is that you want small groups of armed citizens to resist anyone telling them how to organize. I have seen no explanation of how you would support the country. How would you defend it? How would you finance building and maintaining infrastructure? Are you advocating that the people who can build business empires are the ones who should run the country? Have you ever worked for a large corporation? If so, would you like to live in a country that was govered the same way? Do you think that the families of people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett should continue to amass fortunes until they controlled most of the money in the country? How about Larry Ellison?

I have many more questions, but I will wait until you answer a few of the ones that I have already ask before I continue.

Very funny fun. I'm sincerely amused.
They've known forever they'd never get a communist elected. They've. Infiltrated both of our parties and corrupted our governments agenda of preserving individual liberty with promises of equality for all.
Well all but themselves that is.
By definition america is a constitutional republic but were much much closer to a communist democracy than a constitutional republic. Boiling frog theory there.

Neither communism or democracy are a stable form of government. Eventually it crashes just as a constitutional republic can be perverted with democracy.
Our founding fathers knew it would happen, and warned us what would happen when it did and what to do aout it as well. All this great info can be found in the federalist papers they published after they founded this once. Great nation.
Were destined to fail and be conquered by the elite until we all wake up and realize our government no longer cares about individual liberty and is drunk with power and control.
Most do not realize how imprisoned they are.

None. Are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free. {Goeth}
Good quote and very accurate for the time we live in.

Comrade tool,

I just did some research and found out Obama is a registered Democrat and an unaffiliated Christian.

Since you possess such an exhaustive understanding of the tenets of Communism, I'll just offer my expertise to assist you in recognizing us Socialists.

We corrupt impressionable youngsters, devour Caucasian babies, and have two bony protuberances emanating from our foreheads.

Hope this helps as you pursue your rifle toting vendetta Anders, sorry I mean tool.

Sounds to me that you are too personally biased, tool.

In addition, your generalzations are unfounded and uncalled for.

And, where did I say I believed in Communism?

Finally, did you read everything that I wrote? If so, have you choosen to ignore what I said or, is it that can't you answer my questions?

Were all enslaved Quinn, its just that most are willingly compliant or nobody is interested in what you have.
The way were going, if the majority of the population thought you had more than the rest. They'd tax you till you were as poor as them. Everyday we get closer and closer to being a communist Democracy than a constitutional republic. The opportunity to start a business and do for yourself grows smaller and smaller with every tax hike. Mega corporations like GE pay no taxs while a small business trying to compete ia taxed into oblivion. The only reason anyone would want this bastard democracy is if they're a wage slave. No one else would have any appreciation for it what so ever cause they're the ones being taxed.

Communism is a form of government that demands everyone be included. So yes if this is your belief then it certainly applies to you two as well as obama. I'm not at all interested in working my but off as a wage slave to support my peers and truthfully most people aren't. We engage this form of government were all going to be enslaved to the system. Your peers can over rule your every decision in life. Where you work, where you live, etc etc. This is not freedom. We can not allow this to happen. We can not allow our government to force a tax on every individual so that everyone can have a government mandated service such as health care. We do that and we might as well burn our constitution because that's exactly what it was written to protect us from.
No more libert, no more freedom. We all serve the community weather we want to or not. Comply or be imprisoned. Is this what you want to impose on your fellow man?

BTW I re-set the comments so they're not being filtered by myself. please opine your real feeling on the subject. I find it very concerning so many people want a Communist Government in America...
