TBD on Ning

On the 10th of July it will be my last time wearing a military uniform, and since I was 18 I have wore a military uniform I enlisted at 17 and when I started this journey, to me it was just a short stint. Some was active some was guard or reserve. I never intended for it to go on this long but it did serving 5 years on active duty 4 years in the Marines and the 1 year with the Army Reserve in Iraq. Going 12 years with the Guard and 4 years with the Reserves

I have gone to South Korea, and Okinawa. Honduras and Iraq. From North Carolina to California. From the Marines to the National Guard and then to the Army reserve. My uncle took me every where. And it all comes down to this one last day. When I put on the uniform for the last time on the 10th I will retire. Gonna be a little bit difficult and kinda lost but I promised my wife and daughter that this would be my last rodeo.

To those of us who have served, freedom has a taste no one else will recognize. I did 18 and some change with the Army, retired in '95. Would do it again if the cause is right. A salute and a hug, brother. BTW, like your avatar. Got one of them myself! :)

Your loved ones must be so proud of you,and your son.Maybe no more rodeo, but now perhaps it's time to learn some new rope tricks and enjoy those who cared so much about you and waited for this day to come with you safe and sound at home!Happy 4th!

Thank you for your service and sacrifices as a protector and provider of our freedoms here in this country. Your family has made sacrifices too and we honor them for standing with you in faith and hope. My father is a Marine, I know a little what it is like. Blessings to you and your family and you make this transition in your life. May you know peace, love, joy, prosperity and new adventures together!

to all I thank you for such kind words they mean more than you know I did what I did for my family and friends and for people like you all as well it was words of kindness that helped me take it to that next level. It was those words in the back of my mind that told me people still cared. TO all I thank you for allowing me to be one of many to do so. So this July 4th if you know of someone else in uniform tell them thanks. For it is the oath keepers that keep us all safe and sound. Thank you all again I am humbled by your kind words
