I know a number of people here take issue with private profiles, but this is why my profile is private and why I don't use my photo as my avatar.
Before a stranger "friends" me I'd rather they get to know me a little by what I post and that they let me get to know them by their posts...

Thanks Everyone! And NO Mike you haven't missed a thing. I did leave my own special message for this fellow and while visiting his page i noticed that all his friends are women, surprise, surprise and he is not in any group. He mentioned my pictures so i can only imagine that he is hopping from girl to girl looking at our picture and then lurking in the chat room to see who is online.

Grace, at least you were gracious enough to ignore the comment. I could be quite mean if an idiot catches me in a temperamental mood. Last time someone did that to me, I encouraged him to continue and posted everything he said to me on im/pm in a chatroom line by line. The room had a good laugh and supplied me with suggestions on what to say to him. I sent him the link to the chatroom......and never heard from him again.
