Friends Who Prove Untrue
What is more sad than someone you love
who goes behind your back
And takes your trust and tears it apart
all for the courage they lack?
Who lets convenience break your heart
rather than coming to you
and saying "let's talk, I've something to say
it may hurt, but it's true"
Only someone who doesn't know love
or carelessly throws words around
could take a good and trusting heart
and grind it into the ground..
