TBD on Ning

Had a knock at our door last night.
My mother-in-law had come over to visit.
Her eyes went wide open when she heard another knock on the door (we do not get many visitors).
Figured is was just my father-in-law right behind her.
This boy (teenager) was selling something (he said) but did not have anything in his hands like most people do when they are selling something. He said he was doing something for school and as I listened, not paying too much attention, I told him no thanks and shut the door.
My mother-in-law was behind me at the door with her hand on a lamp (6' tall standing lamp) we have near the door that I have not put in a certain place yet. She told me if that guy had done anything she would have cracked his skull!
My mother-in-law is 62 years old but she can hold her own!
Evidently someone had, yes, called the cops and as I was walking my mother-in-law to her car the policeman asked me if I had a visitor. I said yes. He asked me for a description, which I gave to the best of my recollection. Told him the neighbors across the street probably saw which way he went because they smoke outside more than me!
He hightailed it down the street and as my mother-in-law drove home she emailed me later and told me they had handcuffed the guy.
This is the activity at my house for this week!

that kind of thing can happen in any neighborhood. We all have to stay on our toes!
