Thanks, Tool! I just wish Washington was listening to "We the People". And Rubedoo, just because we don't advertise it to any and all, doesn't mean we're not "involved". Not all of us want to be known as "goody two-shoes", and many times it's just helping people with their groceries, helping a neighbor find their lost dog, watching a friend's house for them when they're on vacation, going to the local convalescent center and visiting/holding hands/or helping to feed, or a smile on the elevator, a hug when someone's sad, etc. Does everything the Left considers "involved" have to mean an AIDS Concert, or an International Feed the Children, or Save the Whales? Someone has to stay close to home and take care of the business of feeding, saving, and helping the locals.
Perhaps it will be politics as usual. But it is the only legal tool available - if you don't like 'em, vote the bums out. I don't know what getting involved means. Whenever I hear the words "community organization" I shudder.
