Our weather has been unusually warm for this time of year,Our high this week went to 83 degrees,However it is cooling down this morning.Temps. are supposed to drop this week.I sure hope they do.
It is 31 windy degrees. The wind is coming out of N. Here we go up and down, tomorrow going to be warm and windy 48 degrees. Then the bottom falls right out, Sunday we hope to reach 25. Not seeing many birds today, only the cute squirrels running around. Dont even want to think of the cold artic air coming for Mon. and Tues.
It rained, temp went down (fast) last night, and now it's sunny and 54 again. No more rain predicted until next Fri. & we should have daytime temps in the 60s until Tues.
Well it's 40 degees outside, the sun is out in all it's glory. However, the birds are hiding this afternoon as the wind has picked up and the bird feeders are swinging wildly in the wind...............
Sounds like you need to put one of those platic dome covers over your bird feeder stands. The birds will be happy, and you won't have to keep going out to brush off the snow!
As for us, we remain snowless!!!! Everything is going south of us! Went out yesterday to purchas some more salt for the driveway, and it's not available. Stores are replacing their supplies till we get some more snow or ice! Go figure! Oh, ya, you can still find it at $13 a bag - Ya, Right!!!
Stay Warm!!
Ice-Man,
Sounds like a great opportunity to have a spot of tea, and spend some time by the fireplace!!!
The last storm that came thru went way south, so we missed the cold once again along with all the bad weather! Be thankful it's rain and not snow. The folks in S IN and TN have had lots of severe rain and flooding!
Hope you continue to have warm weather and not a lot of rain! So try and stay dry!
Have a few logs in the fireplace, and watching the grandkids.............
Rain began last night and our temps will continue to drop all day today, bottoming out at 7 a.m. tomorrow at 34. No ice/no snow here but lots of needed rain. Good day to sort paperwork from last year & decide what we need to keep.
Hello Ice Man!
Well it's about time that you have snow!
As for are area, we still basically remain snowless. Storms have either gone north of us or south. The souther area of our country is experiencing is either having heavy rain or snow! So the beat goes on!!!!
Another lovely spring day in central GA - oops, it's mid-January. Thermometer reads 79 right now. Good chance of rain on Thurs. when the temp drops to a more normal high of 55 or so.
