Uh Oh, sorry to hear Ice~Man that all your snow will melt away.  I can imagine it will be a mess there with the rain coming, hope you will not have bad floods.  Take care! Bye

Morning Seashelly, Sailspinner! - Rain, Snow,.....................

I just wonder what Mother Nature has against our area!!! We were over 12" behind last year in precipitation, now this winter, I've seen less than an inch of the white stuff.

It's sooooooo, bad, I asked out township road folks to send out our "Snow Patrol" and see who stole our snow this past week! - LOL

Seashelly - Got an email this AM from the in-laws in Bay Village - West of Cleveland, and I guess they got buried with snow and it was made worse with high winds - Bummer!!! They didn't say how much they received!

Waiting for the grand-kids to arrive!

Cheers!! - AL

29 here at 7 a.m. but that should be the end of our freezing temps for the week.  Today we'll hit a high of 55 or so.  Rain here on Fri (if we're lucky)with a high of only 48.

It is 7 degrees at 7 am.  There is a 60% chance of snow for us this week I think it was Thursday.  So happy I do not live in Minnesota they are having frigid cold temps and wind.

Touché'

MsAlex, how much snow have you received over there in MI? An email from a friend out in Rochester NY and they received over 2 ft. within the past 24 hrs. As for US, we're still looking for the snow!

Well, I'm happy to report we are having a heat wave, out temp is up to 11 degrees this AM. - LOL

We supposedly had snow showers last night, but haven't seen any. Several local communities have called out their "Snow Patrol" to locate the offenders!!

Now, the long range weather for our area predicts we will be back into the 40's by the middle of next week!

Cheers! - AL

Good Morning!  I saw some pansies when I went to Akron last weekend.  I was pretty surprised to see the flowers.

Sailspinner, I hope your peach, pecan and plum trees will be ok through the cold nights.

GrandPa, We did get snow last evening.  Did not get much snow like they were saying.  Just enough to cover the grass.  My husband said the roads were real slick last evening.

I am stayin inside where it is warm, no need to go out so this chick is stayin home today.  It is 5.0 degrees with a windchill of -10 below.  The wind chill advisory remains until Wed.  By the end of this week we have a chance of some snow.

No orange trees in central GA; mostly peaches and pecans around here.  We do have plums on our property but they havent bloomed.  Spring bulbs, however, started to bloom with all the warm days so those will be zapped for sure.  I just hope it's cold enough to kill some of the bugs - yellow jackets & pine beetles particularly.

Sailspinner,

Bummer with the 28 degrees. Hope you folks don't end up with ice as a result of that! What impact will that have on the orange trees down your way?

Morning Ice Man!

It's amazing how often it snows over there in Wales.! - LOL!

As I recall, if it's snowing it will not be too cold outside. Now I don't know if that is a scientific fact, but something a remember from being a kid! If it was snowing, it would be OK to go out and play in the snow! LOL....

Would LOVE to have some of your snow so I could take the grand kids outside and dish on our hill!

So stay warn my friend!
