Good Morning Sailspinner.....
Yes, isn't technology wonderful - NOT! What part of TX are you in? As the morning weather forecast was showing "The Storm" running from western TX up thru KC today, with lots of snow for OK, and the KC area! At this rate, I'm afraid we are going to send the St Bernards (with the brandy keg) out to look for Chief! I'm afraid that he's going to get buried.............
The sun is out in all it's glory, and maybe some of our snow will melt before the next batch rolls in tomorrow!!!!
Cheers!
We got rain in central TX last night. Cloudy today but I haven't checked the weather. TV has different stations and I haven't figured them out yet. One thing I've learned is that new technology (smart phones) and old people (this old woman) are not a good mix. I want a phone that makes calls. This one is so complicated I can't navigate in it and it's the only way the kids can communicate with their parents in Guam. Thank goodness the oldest is more savvy than I am but she's in school all day. Grumble, grumble. Otherwise, things are going well. And we don't have snow!!!lol
Morning Weather Friends.....
Hear we go again............My friend out in CO got over 15" of the white stuff!
Today we will be in the mid 40's, tomorrow is suppose to be another major snow storm heading our way! However, they can't agree how much snow we will receive! 3-6", 6 - 10", So I wonder what the we-gee board would say!
Hey, Chief, What is happening out your way???
Wow! It's so bright out, you have to wear sunglasses if your going to be out for any length of time!
Now it's time to settle down and watch the race!!!! Sounds like the fans are improving, have my fingers crossed for all of them!!!
Morning GrandPa,
So nice you are having a warm day...the sun is coming back out here. It is a mild day here........and hooray no WIND!!
I heard there was 28 people injured. Yes, it was a miracle no one was hurt. I was at a INDY 500 race, and a tire went flying not to far from where I was sitting, Wow! that was scary! I have been up to MIS........for a few NASCAR races......so much FUN!
My prayers are also with friends and family of those who were hurt. I did hear that 2 of the critical are now in stable condition. Hopefully we do not see anymore bad crashes today. There is a chance of rain and thunder storms for C. FL...A cold front is going to stall across the area. But they have those huge air machines that can dry off the track pretty quick.
Morning Seashelly,
Ya, it's a warm day here in IL. Low 30's NO WIND, and the sun is out in all it's glory. Some of the snow may even melt...............
Wouldn't miss it for anything..... I've been to some of the NASCAR events, and considering what transpired yesterday, I'm really surprised more people were not injured. The good news is there were no fatalities due to the crash!!!
My prayers are with all those that were injured yesterday and hope they make it thru OK!
Good Morning.........
Sunny bright morning, 31 degrees @ 11:30 am.
Sounds like for us on Tuesday we will have rain..snow..and wind..sounds interesting, I think we may have more ice than snow? Not to sure yet? Anyone going to be watching the Daytona 500?? There is NO WAY I WILL MISS IT!
I wish everyone a super Sunday! Have fun!!
Morning Weather Friends!
A friend in CO is looking at a significant snow storm will impact the Front Range and Denver, Sunday. Like 6 - 9 "" this time. This is likely to be the best snow the area has had this season for the area.
So Chief, LOOK OUT, it coming your way again!!! Looks like you could be anywhere from 4" - over 12+" Hope you have your shovel and snow blower ready!
As for us here in N IL I don't think we have a clue for Tuesday! . One prediction is 2-4", the other is 6-10", so it's called wait ans see............
The good news in all of this is whether we are experiencing snow, or the rain down south, the local streams and rivers will be replenished this spring!
Now, it's time for some Coffee...............
Hi everyone, I had a feeling the end of winter would be snowy. Where was the snow in December? Geez! So today has been sunny and cloudy. It is 31 degres and very cloudy. With the little warm up today, it has melted the snow and ice off of my street. So that is a good thing!
Hi Sailspinner, So nice to hear you are having a sunny day in TX. Your pigs in the blanket sounds so good. Making me hungry...lol
HI Chief, Wow........you are getting another snow storm...Sounds like Mother Nature has it in for you. lol.....Yikes is right! I hope you will be on the lower end of the scale with the snow totals. It is a good thing though that your area is getting the mositure.
Hope everyone has a relaxing and peaceful evening! ~ Michelle
Yikes is right, Chief. Guess Feb. is trying to make up for the mild weather earlier. Stay safe. Glad I'm in TX!
Sunny here. Cool but the kids & I just finished making kalachies (why didn't they say pigs in a blanket?) and are leaving for a walk to the library.
