TBD

TBD on Ning

Years ago on a now defunct website where members of the HTML Workshop shared tips, tricks, and all kinds of ideas concerning HTML, CSS and even graphics. One member, mbotos, shared code which was  similar to the code that is rendered below:

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland (Isaiah 43:18-19).

So, how can you use it? It can be used on your TeeBeeDee profile page (View my Profile). It can be used on a website to catch attention. You can use it wherever HTML and CSS is allowed.

The code will be added to the first reply. Go ahead and play with it. If you have questions or need help, just post.

This is the code used in the beginning thread:

<div style="font-size: 16px;">
<p><span style="color: #903; float: left; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 75px; line-height: 60px; padding-replaced: 3px; padding-right: 8px;">F</span><span style="padding-top:10px; display: block;">orget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland (Isaiah 43:18-19).</span></p>
</div>

If you want, share what you try.

'Have a good one!

Thanks for the tip. Here is one I put on my profile page.

That's one of my favorite quotes! I love how it looks.

I learned a lot from mbotos in the HTML workshop on Eons. I met some very nice people in that group who were willing to share what they knew -- and were very patient with me, LOL!

Being patient with beginners is very important.  Learning new things doesn't come easy to everyone, especially as we age.

I did change the red D to a gold one on my page and it showed up much better on the black background.
