Mars Rover: Spirit

One of the tough little robots that help paved the way for Curiosity.

Some day, I hope we can bring Spirit back home to Earth.

The rover Curiosity has generated more interest because of it's hair raising landing on Mars. :-)

Also, Curiosity or the Mars Science Laboratory (its official name) is the next generation of rovers and I'm hoping the last. It's time for us think about putting permanent manned laboratories on Mars and if Curiosity has found something important, this may create a more urgent need for the manned explorations of Mars.
