Massive Meetup, August 14, for TBD an' past MA members, in Baraga, Michigan! Baraga is way up dere in da U.P. of Michigan. Yah, dis t'ing is gonna be huge, eh!! Dere's lots of people signed up already!! Uh, OK, OK, dere's only two so far, maybe some more of yuz can make it, eh? An' don' worry if yer t'inkin' you don' know how to speak wit' dose Yoopers....I am fluent in bot' English an' Yooplish.

I'm in the U.P. now.......spending a couple of days in my dad's home town....trying to find stuff I remembered from when I was a kid visiting. Mostly I'm having pretty good luck with that. I also found my grandparents' graves....I chatted with them awhile, although I gotta say, I did most of the talking. They're right by a busy highway, so I talked loud. I found the step-grandma's grave too....very small, secluded cemetery. More to follow.
