Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

Breaded and fried cube steak, and mixed veggies for tonight. I'm also cooking a pot of ham and 15 bean soup, and a pepperoni roll.

Bean soup and cornbread tonight. Thanksgiving dinner will be on Sunday at our daughter's place. I DON'T HAVE TO COOK!!!

I'm between kitchens...like 3...! Decided to buck tradition and went to Chinese buffet (nod to Q)! They were very busy! Folks of all sorts were there. Families and retired people, some single people. A real slice of the pie Americana.
It was good.
