Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

....oh, and wild rice.

That's different from tame rice....harder to catch, harder to make stay in the pot. Hollers louder when the water starts boiling.

A big salad, right from the bag, featuring diced ham, diced tomato, some shredded mozzarella, and a killer curried lentil topping purchased at the convenience store.

Today at work, my boss bought some very spicy chili and was really struggling with it, so I swapped her my bland chicken and Swiss sandwich on nuts and twigs bread.  Seemed like it was a win-win deal on both sides.
