TBD on Ning

Okay...so I used to cry @ Kodak commercials.  Hallmark always gets to me too.  I even get a bit sniffly  with Folgers.

Now I was wondering (as was ABC) about the biggest tearjerker movie or scene in a movie you have ever seen.

I don't agree with "The Champ" having never seen it but the kid is very convincing.

I'm sure there are loads of others out there....No," Dirty Dozen"   doesn't count !

Yup...gets me every time.  Really.
Oh, yes.

Saving Private Ryan....can't remember exactly how it went, but it was the scene where they came to inform the family of the death of one of the brothers. I remember a car or two coming up a long driveway and the Mother sinking down the door jam to the floor, for she knew what was coming.

Actually the complete opening sequence choked me up.

A powerful scene.  I think it was based loosely on the story of the "Sullivans".  Unimaginable grief.
Life Is Beautiful.
A number of scenes brought me to tears, but the final scene in particular, when the boy finds his mother and tells her he won the game.
Great movie.
I have never be able to bring myself to watch that film.
You must!
And, watch the original, not the dubbed version--something gets lost in that one.
I cried the whole time I was forced to watch Howard The Duck.
Me, too.  This one made that horrible time all too real.
'Ghost' was a bit of a "choker-upper."
Promise not to laugh?
E.T.
