I was a friend of Fayette County Sheriff Jim.

I contributed to his defense fund in Marvin Zindler lawsuit for knocking of Marvin's wig.  Sheriff Jim was played by Burt Reynolds in the movie.

Miss Edna was a life-long Southern Baptist laywoman & gave money to the Women's Missionary Union of THE BAPTIST GENERAL CONVENTION OF TEXAS missionary programs.

I was in La Grange once, but probably was a little young to go the Chicken Ranch.......I think I was 7 or 8 at the time.

No.  I went to the Gutter in Brooklyn.  It didn't have chickens but I've never forgotten the onion rings.

No, at the time of its closure, I was still a young man, relying on smooth talking and good looks to, er, consort with women.

Nope, Never made it to the Chicken Ranch.  But I've visited the Dog House more times than I can count.

Some guys got together and decided to go the Chicken Ranch one night about 1973 and the guy took us to a chicken farm.

Did it taste like chicken?

Been through La Grange a number of times but never made it to the Chicken Ranch. When I was stationed at Ft. Hood, some of my fellow officers made a few trips there. But I remained as pure as driven snow. Well, except for the three years in El Paso/Juarez and Acuna, Piedras Negras, and a few other places strung around the world. Yep, good clean living. that's how I survived to the age of 74.

I was a dissapointed 16 year old and did not get out the truck.

Soooo... you don't know what chicken tastes like?
