It's obvious that Labor Day has come and gone. Some of us decorated for Halloween, some decorated in harvest themes a la Thanksgiving....
...and then there are those who went straight to Christmas.
The stores have their stuff out, do you?

The grandson talked me into putting up a tree yesterday. (for some reason we have 3 trees)
I got one of those little rosemary trees. We'll see if I can keep it alive until Christmas.
Those things smell so strong. I like a gentle whiff of herbs, but too much rosemary makes me gag. It smells mediciney.
I will certainly do my best, but even with the best of instructions, I don't do so well with plants.
I know. I checked several sites and found quite a bit of different opinions on the care of rosemary trees. The biggest difference seemed to be the amount and frequency of watering. The site above's advice may lead to over watering. (I saw may, because I've never tried growing one of these myself) Here is another you can check out.

^^^Sweet!!!^^ It's just missing a Twinkie. :-)
I think I'll start working on the outside lights tomorrow. I'll wait to put another tree up until Diego can come over and help his grandpa.
I went away for 3 days and when I came back the rosemary tree was doing well.
Now that I'm home it'll start dying.
