This seems to discredit some that aledge that the ACA will save people money. It will save some money, but the majority will have to pay more. These are the same middle class americans that Obama has sworn to fight for. Why isn't the left upset by this?

Its complicated. Sometimes to save money, you have to spend it....or something...
What we have here are mandated benefits that have to be paid for by policy issued, the more you cover, the more you have to pay, but that is the easy part. The rest is complicated, as to what you pay, as to what you need, it is set in what you get, and what you get is set a minimum benefits that probably exceed what you use to get, gets confusing, doesn't it.
What can change is the size of the deductible offered by policy chosen, and the amount of offset subsidy you can get based on income as far as ObamaCare is concerned. If you don't get a government subsidy, most likely, you are going to pay more, but you get more, coverage that is, like it or not. And then again what isn't there to like, since it is from the government, oh, no,,,it is from the rapacious insurance companies that are being forced to do good...and a potential profit by providing policies on the exchanges.
Overall, the number of people involved in what ObamaCare is selling on the almost ready for prime time exchanges is small. The kicker is how many of those enrolling will be actually Medicaid enrollees and not policy holders, and as such, not paying, anything.
Ultimately this is a game of numbers, get the numbers, get the revenue, then it all works, ObamaCare that is. Don't get the numbers, don't get the revenue, then the it is in trouble, potentially big trouble as a viable, afffordable insurance scheme.
Insanity prevails LOL....
